Anwer's Group's story

Anwer lives in a small city in Pakistan called Chichawatni, which is famous for its agricultural industry. She is 46 years old and a mother of a 15-year-old son who operates a fruit-selling business. He sells fruits on a four-wheeled cart by visiting different areas of the city and financially contributing to the family. Anwer lives in a three-room brick house with her family. She came here after her marriage to B. A.. Her husband is also involved in the fruit-selling business. He also sells fruit on a four-wheeled cart by visiting different areas of the city. Anwer herself stays at home and does her household responsibilities.

She has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for her husband's business. With the loan, he will buy fresh seasonal fruits for his business to increase his sales and profits. Anwer is hopeful that her husband will be able to improve his business conditions with the loan.
