Nasreen's Group's story

Nasreen is a resident of Khanewal which is a small city in Pakistan, known for its agriculture industry. Her house is located in Shanti Nagar which is a small residential area where she has been living with her family in a 3-room brick house for the past 25 years. She is a housewife, staying at home and doing her household responsibilities. She is a very caring person and tries to give comfort to her family by fulfilling their needs.

Her husband's name is S. M. and he operates a vegetable-selling business. His shop is located in the market and he offers fresh seasonal vegetables to his customers at reasonable rates. He has been operating this business for the past 10 years.

Nasreen has given birth to one son who is 15 years old and works in a private company and financially contributes to the family. She has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for her husband’s business to use in buying fresh seasonal vegetables for his shop. Nasreen is confident that an investment will help him making more money from his business.

She is a new loan user and this is her first loan application to Asasah.
