San Jeronimo X Group's story

The name of this group is “San Jeronimo” in honor of the community of the same name, which is located in Puebla, Mexico. This group consists of nine members and is requesting a loan for the fourth time.

Sra. Minerva Margarita Bermudes is the group president. She is 31 years old and only has an elementary school education. Minerva is married and has three children (ages 9, 10, and 15). She sells shoes through catalogs and is known among her fellow group members for being a responsible person who presses forward despite adversity. Minerva is originally from this community and has made progress. The loan she is requesting will be used to buy shoes in bulk so that she can generate more earnings. The income that she earns will be used to continue providing education for her children, give them a better life, and help cover the family expenses.
