A loan of $3,575 helped a member to buy hens and medicines for poultry.

Corazon De Jesus Group's story

This committee came into being thanks to Mrs. Eudelia B. and Mrs. Anacleta V.. They had visited the office of Fundación Paraguaya to learn more about the Comité de Mujeres Emprendedoras (Committee of Enterprising Women) Program. The women invited their friends and neighbors. They decided to work together to get ahead and thus improve their quality of life. The committee is made up of 19 hard-working, humble women who have to earn their living every day.
Mrs. Eudelia works raising and selling poultry, hens in particular. Her henhouse is in her own home. This makes it easier to spend time taking care of the henhouse.
She is a woman with many economic needs, but she wants to overcome the poverty in which she lives. For this, she turns to Kiva. She requests this loan to go towards the purchase of more birds and medicine to look after them.

In this group: Eudelia, Anacleta, Maria Mercedes, Felicia, Victoria, Ana, Mariza, Nancy, Eva, Anunciacion, Jovina, Romina, Juana, Nimia, Gladys, Benicia, Ignacia, Celia, Maria Elsi
