Juntos Podemos Group's story

The "Juntos Podemos" community bank is located in the district, province and department of Cusco, Peru. One of the members is Jesusa, a 43-year-old mother of four children. She makes a living selling vegetables such as tomatoes, onions, carrots and peppers, among other items. She sells at the Huancaro market, and on Saturdays and Sundays she sells at the San Sebastián market from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Jesusa wants to improve and expand her business, and is requesting the loan to purchase all kinds of vegetables. The other members make a living selling fruits, selling handicrafts, running a beauty salon, selling food, and providing transportation services. The members are grateful to those who have made this possible and promise to make their payments in the established time.
