Maria Irma's story

Mrs. María Irma T., 64, lives in the Campo Viejo neighborhood in San Marcos de Colón; she has a dining room where she sells breakfasts, lunches and dinners as well as a wide variety of snacks.

María has many customers because her meals are very tasty and prices are accessible to people in the community. She rises daily at 6am to start making her meals in order to please each of her customer’s taste.

She will use the loan to buy beef, pork and chicken, sausages, mortadella, ham, rice, beans, oil, lard, soft drinks, tortillas, bananas, condiments and vegetables. Her goal is to continue growing with her business and to have a better quality of life.
