Brigida is a hard-working entrepreneur who has a tobacco sales business. She is borrowing PHP 50,000 through NWTF to buy more stocks of tobacco to offer for sale. Brigida has been in this business for 25 years. She earns additional income from tablea and handwoven (banig) making.
Brigida has been sustaining her business activities through her own efforts with the help of the loans from NWTF. She dreams to expand her business in order to support the family needs in the future.

(NWTF) is a non-governmental organization established with an aim to help men and women achieve self-sufficiency, particularly in the province of Negros Occidental’s low-income communities. The organization offers its clients a wide variety of products, including loans for micro-entrepreneurs, hospital income benefits, life insurance, accidental death benefits and more. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the reach of these products to low-income urban and rural communities.
