A loan of $900 helped to buy chickens.

Lorenzo's story

Lorenzo, 62 years old, is a kind, hard-working man who lives in his own home with his wife María who is 52. He aspires most to working hard now so he can have a peaceful retirement together with his beloved partner. Lorenzo begins his day very early in the morning to set up his chicken stall in the Luciana Market (an important market in the district of Carabayllo). He is a very persuasive salesman and always elicits a smile from his customers.

What he enjoys most about his business is talking to his colleagues whose jokes make the long day more enjoyable. He's been in business for 30 years and believes that the hardest part of his job is having to spend the entire day in one place. Sometime in the future he would like to have an emporium where he could sell frozen chicken in a calmer environment.

This is his fourth loan through MFP and he is very grateful for it. He is a well-loved member of the bank and always helps out there when he can. He plans to use the 2,500 PEN to buy more chicken to be able to meet customer demand.
