A loan of $575 helped to buy toys, ladies' clothes and stationery products.

Isabel's story

Isabel is married and has three children aged between 37 and 43. Although she has had her business for many years, with the help of her children and her savings she has revived it by purchasing display cabinets and better stocking it. She now has her loyal customers back.

Isabel currently needs to stock her business a lot more with products that she still doesn't have such as toys, ladies' clothes and stationery products. For this reason, she is requesting her first Kiva loan which she plans to use to increase her working capital. She is certain that her sales will increase because she will be stocking her business during a period when she experiences a good turnover of merchandise. Mothers' Day is approaching and her customers have ordered many items from her. Isabel will organize her products in a way which will draw her customers' attention. This will gain their interest. They will want to buy and they will buy. Isabel's biggest challenge now is growing her business and she is certain that, with God's help and her own efforts, she will be successful. In the meantime, her business has good financial indicators which she must maintain in order to achieve her dreams.
