Reyna's story

Reyna is 34 years old, a single mother, and has a 13 year-old son. She is a member of the Obreras (Workers) community bank.

Reyna has a grocery store and is requesting a loan for 3,000 Peruvian soles. She will invest her loan in buying merchandise for her store such as rice, sugar, noodles, oil, soap, flour and eggs.

Reyna used to rent a store but she gradually saved money with FINCA Peru from the time when they still worked in dollars. She managed to save 7,000 dollars, bought a plot of land and started building her own home. Now her store is located in her home and is doing well. Reyna is currently saving to build a second storey on her home. Her dream is to have a big store and for her son to become a professional.
