This village bank loan consists of sixteen members. Mrs. Nao, who was born in 1966, is the village bank president. She was selected to be the village bank president by the other members.

Mrs. Nao is a widow with four children: two are seamstresses in the garment factories while the others are students and also support their mother by farming.

Mrs. Nao is a farmer. She owns a plot of land, which she uses to grow bananas and potatoes for a living. She doesn’t have enough money to grow her crops, so she decided to ask for a loan to buy fertilizers for cultivating bananas. The rest of the loan she will use for growing potatoes.
