Soun M. is a 56-year-old farmer who lives in Kompong Cham province. She is married to Touk Mao, who is also 56. Soun and her husband work together to cultivate and sell rice. The couple has two adult children who are married and who help them in the business.
Soun is requesting a loan to buy a plot of farmland to grow a variety of crops. This loan will provide her with a new asset.
