María is a 65 year old mother who lives in the Olmos district, an agricultural zone with lots of commerce. It’s part of the Lambayeque province, located two hours from Chiclayo.

She has had a small store in her home for three years and she sells different daily use products and consumables to her neighbors and customers from the zone. Her sales are good because of the good customer service and quality of the products that she sells. She supports her family with the income from this business.

The growing demand that her business has been experiencing has made her want to expand it and she has seen fit to ask for a loan of 1,000 PEN through Edpyme Alternativa so she can better meet her customers’ needs.
