Luna Turquesa Group's story

Luna Turquesa is a lending association of Credituyo formed by 8 women. They chose the name, which means "turquoise moon," as it has special meaning for them. Margarita is a member who has 3 children, aged 7, 5 and 1 year, two months. Margarita runs a business out of her home selling nutritional products, which she started over two years ago. Her business allows her to cover some of the basic expenses of the household to benefit her children. With this loan she plans to buy inventory to increase product variety and sales for her business. Margarita dreams of opening her own shop one day, in order to help her husband and assure her family a secure future.
