A loan of $1,600 helped a member to purchase more goats.

Jazgul's Group's story

Jazgul C. is the leader of this group. She is a resident of Tashkomur, a small mining town in the south of Kyrgyzstan. She is 28 and married to a constructor. Together with her husband, she is bringing up a daughter and two sons. The first son is at school and the other children are not yet, because they are preschool age (under seven). Four years ago, with the initial investment of 1,500 KGS, Jazgul started to breed goats. Reselling goats after being fattened, she makes about an additional $85 per month. With money received from the loan, she will purchase more goats for breeding. In the future, Jazgul dreams to build a big house for the family. --- Where Did This Loan Come From? --- This loan is brought to you by Mol Bulak Finance (MBF), a young, ambitious and socially-focused Microfinance Institution in Kyrgyzstan.
