Maral's Group's story

Maral K., 46, is the leader of this group. She is a resident of Tashkomur – a small mining town in the south of Kyrgyzstan. Her husband works as a foreman, and together they have raised two sons and a daughter. The sons study at university and the daughter is at school.

The family breeds livestock animals for making additional money. They have three cows and fifteen sheep. With money received from the loan, Maral wants to increase the number of livestock and purchase five more sheep for breeding.
