A loan helped a member to increase the food stall's inventory.


Tamba Group's story

Magret Y. is in her early twenties and is single. She has a food vendor business which she opens from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm daily (seven hours only) and is able to make a reA. small monthly profit.

This will be Magret's second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loan to buy rice, wheat four, and cooking oil. She has paid back her loan successfully. She wants another loan to further increase her food inventory. Her dream is to one day be able to take care of her parents.

Magret will share this loan with her loan group "Tamba" which has a total of 15 members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable in paying back their loans.
