Ahmed is 46 years old and married with 3 children between the ages of 17 and 21. He runs a store in the town of Grassfield in Sierra Leone.
Ahmed has been in this business for 5 years and sells rice, paint, cement, and mosquito spray at his store. He also earns income from renting a house. He says that the main challenge to his business is price control.
He requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase some more store items. He says that the extra income from this loan will help him expand his business. In the future, he would like to be an importer.
