A loan of $725 helped to purchase more livestock and well-balanced feed.

Santiago's story

Santiago is 32 years old, married, with 4 young children. He lives in his own home in the Olmos district, a very busy commercial and agricultural area; Olmos is located in the Lambayeque province about an hour and a half from Chiclayo. Currently, Santiago does not have water and electricity in his home. He works raising and selling small animals like sheep, pigs, and chickens. He keeps the animals in pens and coops on some land close to his home. He buys the animals on the outskirts of the city and then takes the time to fatten them up and sell them in Olmos or send them to Chiclayo for sale. He has worked in this business for 5 years. He would like to expand his business by buying more animals and well-balanced animal feed. In order to do so, he is requesting a $725 loan from Edpyme Alternative. He hopes to increase his sales to improve his income. He will use his increased income to fix his home. He dreams of providing a better life for his family.
