Rukhsana's Group's story

Rukhsana lives in a 2-room brick house with her family in a city called Mian channu. It is a small city in Pakistan and known for its agriculture industry. She has been living there with her family for past 12 years. Her husband’s name is S. S. and he operates a grocery shop in the market. Through his shop, he offers his clients daily use items such as sugar, salt, cooking oils, etc. He is very good in his dealings with the customers and has good respect amongst them.

Rukhsana is a caring lady. She performs her duties as a housewife very well. She is a mother of 4 children. All of the children are enrolled in a local school and are getting their education.

Rukhsana has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah. This loan will help her husband buy groceries to sell in his grocery shop. He is relatively new in his business; he started his shop only a couple of years ago. Rukhsana hopes that the loan investment will be a good step towards business growth.
