A loan of $200 helped to buy merchandise to sell.

Maria Angela's story

Angela, age 52, lives with her children in the Paiján district. There is a lot of commercial activity in this area, which is located in the La Libertad region. It is over two hours to the city of Chiclayo, the capital of the Lambayeque region.

She has a grocery store in her home. She sells varied products like basic needs items and groceries to her neighbors. The business is approximately 25 years old. She currently has a fixed and loyal customer base. Thanks to this business she has been able to support her family and get it ahead during all of this time.

Angela wishes to expand her business by purchasing more merchandise. That way she will be able to meet customer demand during the Christmas season. That is why she feels it is advisable to request a loan for 500 soles from Edpyme Alternativa.
