Julio Cesar's story

Julio Cesar O. C. is 57 years old. He lives with his wife in San Jacinto, in Bolívar department. He has three children, aged between 32 and 35, who live independently. They all managed to complete their education and are married.

Julio Cesar started his business because he couldn't find a formal job that would allow him to make income. He saw a business opportunity selling cell phones, minutes and accessories. In the beginning he also sold agricultural products.

Julio Cesar's current goal is to expand his sales of minutes and to invest in buying cell phones because a lot of customers want to upgrade. In the meantime, Julio Cesar continues offering his telecommunications service which makes him a sales percentage of at least 29%. He is applying for a Kiva loan (his first through Fundación Mario Santo Domingo) because he would like to expand his working capital. He will use it to buy cell phones and accessories that he has ordered.
