A loan of $3,550 helped a member to increase her small cafe items.

Jitahidi Msakuzi Group's story

Magret B., who is in her mid-twenties, is married with three children (two are twins). She has been running a small cafe business for four years. She works from 6:00am to 10:00pm daily and is able to make a small monthly profit.

This will be Magret's twelfth loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to sell fruits and vegetables and also bought a plot of land. She has repaid her loans successfully. She hopes for a loan to increase her cafe's items (food and drinks). Her dream is to one day have a big restaurant and also send her children to good schools.

Magret will share this loan with her loan group "Jitahidi Msakuzi", which has a total of 16 members. The members will hold each other accountable in paying back their loans.
