Josephine M. is 34-year-old married lady with four children all below the age of 18 years. She has been a water vendor for the last seven years now in Marereni area in Malindi and earns a monthly income of about Kshs 21,000/= from her business. She usually uses the money to assist her husband in taking care of their family and educating their children.
Josephine has been loaned Kshs 40,000/= by KADET LIMITED as her third loan from the company and she intends to use it to purchase a bigger water tank than the one she has now. She would like to be able to serve her ever-growing customer base since no one else conducts the same kind of business in the area.
She wishes to use the anticipated profits from her business to continue helping look after her family as well as to help grow her business by opening another water selling point in the town.
