A loan of $1,225 helped a member to purchase 5 drums of palm oil.

Allodalome Group's story

The Allodalome group consists of 14 women who live in the same village near the rural market town of Allada. This is their first loan with ALIDE. They have agreed to support each other in business and through loan repayments.

Ahouanvoéton (with her hand raised in the photo) is 36 years old and a widow. She independently supports two children, who do not have the chance to be in school. Since the age of 6, Ahouanvoéton has been selling palm oil, corn, and cassava from her stall in the market. This loan will enable her to purchase five drums of oil for resale. Her long term aim is to grow her sales. Her strongest points as an entrepreneur are her rigor and dynamism.
