A loan of $750 helped to buy feed and more laying hens.

José Nelson's story

José is 32 years old and lives in Sensembra, located in the Department of Morazán, with his wife and four daughters: Zulma (9), Rosaura (8), Griselda (5) and Yesenia (2). His family financially depends on his income and he works raising both laying hens and chickens for fattening. He learned this business together with his wife. The primary advantage is the high number of customers and the difficulty is the constant change in the prices of feed.

He currently needs a loan for the purchase of feed and to obtain more laying hens. This will help him to have the necessary materials to feed them and to expand the farm, thus having a higher production and sales capacity.

His goal as a merchant is for his business to be strong and for his children to learn the trade so that it continues in the long term.
