Leonor's story

Leonor is 54 years old. He lives with his wife and daughter in his own home in Tambogrande district. This is an agricultural area which is located in Piura province, more than four hours from the city of Chiclayo, capital of Lambayeque region. They currently do not have access to basic services such as light or drinking water.

Leonor has been growing mangos for more than 15 years. He has two small plantations where he carries out this activity. He also raises and sells sheep. He has 30 head of sheep. Leonor would like to use his loan to buy fertilizers and agrochemicals to care for his mango crop. Through this investment, he will obtain an optimum and timely harvest. In order to achieve his goal, he has requested a loan for 1,200 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa. This loan will be the second that he has requested from Edpyme Alternativa. He paid back his first loan on time. Leonor is a very hard-working man. He has good personal references and work references from his neighbors. He is committed to his family and is always looking out for their well-being and development.
