A loan of $375 helped to purchase additional animals to raise and sell.

Ramon Lindor's story

Ramon is 22 years old. He lives with his wife and young daughter in the rural community of Sincape, in the district of Olmos, an agricultural area with a lot of commercial activity, located in the province of Lambayeque, more than an hour and a half from the city of Chiclayo. Currently, Ramon and his family do not have the basic services of electricity and running water.

Ramon makes a living by raising and commercializing farm animals such as sheep and goats. He raises his livestock in a yard near his house, and when the animals have reached an appropriate size and weight, he offers them for sale to the general public and merchants in the local market. Ramon has three years of experience in this business and has built a loyal customer base. Additionally, Ramon works as an agricultural laborer on various small farms in the surrounding area.

Ramon would like to expand his business by purchasing more animals. To achieve this goal, he has solicited a loan of 1,000 nuevos soles through Edpyme Alternativa. This investment will allow Ramon to increase his income to continue investing in his business and cover his family’s expenses. His greatest wish is to continue improving the quality of life that he can offer to his wife and daughter.
