Compartimos Group's story

The Compartimos Group (“Let’s Share” Group) is composed of three hard-working, strong and resourceful women. One of them is Sugey Martínez, aged 30, who runs a small activity she started 2 years ago by selling sweets. The loan she is requesting will be used to buy rice, sugar, beans, oil, soap and other products. The other members of the group are young Diana O., aged 21, who sells clothes made of spotted cavy’s skin, and Teresa Martínez, who sells baho (a typical dish made of yucca, plantains, bananas, jerked beef, tomatoes, garlic cloves, onion, orange juice, steamed under plantain’s leaves and served with a cabbage salad).
