Nyirarudodo A. is an entrepreneur and leader of the group La Vérité (Truth). She is 52 years old and has three children who all live on their own. Her husband is unemployed. Nyirarudodo A. sells fruits such as mangoes, avocados and oranges. She makes a living from this business. She has been in this business for a long time. She has just completed four rounds of loans with the micro-finance institution (MFI) Hekima which increased her capital. She will purchase an inventory of new fruits such as mangoes, avocados and oranges with the new loan. Moreover, she hopes to make her business stable in the long term, make some home improvements and live peacefully with her children and grandchildren. Nyirarudodo A. thanks the MFI Hekima for their committed work with poor women excluded from the traditional banking sector. The group La Vérité has 35 members.
