A loan of $4,575 helped a member to increase the shop's inventory.

Forkland Group's story

Violeth W. is in her early 30s and is married with three children. She has been running a general store since 2005. She works from 6:00 a.m. to after midnight and is able to make a good monthly profit.

This will be Violeth's third loan from Tujijenge Tanzani. She used the previous loans to increase the shop's inventory and also started selling second-hand shoes. She has paid back her loan successfully. She hopes for a loan to still increase on the shop's inventory. Her dream is to one day open a clothing shop.

Violeth will share this loan with her loan group, Forkland, which has a total of 25 members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable in paying back their loans.
