A loan of $3,750 helped a member to increase her shop inventory.

Unity Group's story

Aneth T., who is in her early forties, is married with three children. She has been running a general store for two years. She works from 6.00am to 9.00pm daily and is able to make a good monthly profit.

This will be Aneth's sixth loan from Tanzania. She used the previous loans to increase the shop inventory and to pay school fees. She has paid back her loans successfully. She hopes for a loan to again increase the shop inventory. Her dream is to one day own a grocery and sell just soft drinks.

Aneth will share this loan with her loan group "Unity", which has a total of fifteen members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable in paying back their loans.
