Bathuyag's story

Bathuyag, 38, is married and lives with his wife and four children in Arhangai province of Mongolia. They live in a house on a small plot of land that they own. They have a decent standard of living. His wife helps him with the business and his three of his children attend a local secondary school.

Bathuyag began a clothes trading business in 2000. He sells clothes out of a rented stall at a local market. He started his business with a working capital of 300,000 MNT and now his working capital exceeds 3,420,000 MNT. He now operates two stalls at the market and makes sofas and beds in addition to his clothes-trading business. He is one of the reliable customers of XacBank, since 2004.
