Michel

A loan of $650 helped to buy toilets, faucets, and circuit breakers.

Michel's story

Michel is a merchant with HOPE Congo. He is 37 years old, married, and the father of three children, aged 6 to 22. He started this hardware business in 2002. On average, his sales amount to approximately 5,000 to 50,000 francs per day.

With a second loan he expects to receive, Michel is going to bolster his business by buying toilets, faucets, circuit breakers, fuses, and spark plugs of any size.

For the future, he is thinking of getting started in wholesale with this savings, as well as opening a large store. He is also thinking of sending his children to top schools for their training and education.
