Randy's story

Randy L., age 31, is a rice farmer. He offers his harvested rice for sale to members of his community. Randy has been engaged in his business for over eight years and earns approximately 27,000 PHP per harvest. Randy is from the village of Canabuan Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya. He and his wife have three school-aged children.

Randy has just joined ASKI in hopes of gaining access to financial services. He wants to help improve his living situation and increase his ability to engage in business activities. Randy is requesting his first loan from ASKI in the amount of 15,000 PHP, which will be used to pay for services to increase crop yield. He plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to financially support immediate members of his family.
