A loan of $800 helped to purchase rice and other products wholesale.

Margarita's story

Margarita lives in the zone of the First Villa of Mayo. She has lived there more than five years. She sells meals that she delivers every day to some construction workers, since her husband is a contractor. Since she makes purchases every two or three days, and the majority of the workers are paying their tabs every fifteen days, she needs working capital to make her purchases, such as rice and other items like individual beverages to go with each lunch. Now she is using disposable plates for the lunches, and she will use her loan money to purchase all these types of things. She has four children who help her run her business; they are just finishing paying for the things she bought on credit. Margarita characterizes herself as a responsible and charismatic person. She has worked with groups before, and this is her first individual loan.
