The 'GRUPO DE MUJERES MUSHUC ÑAN' community bank is located in Guanto Cruz community, in Guanujo parish, in Guaranda canton. The 22 members of this group work in agriculture, growing blackberries and corn. They also raise farmyard animals and dairy cows for making cheese.

Maria is a farmer who grows blackberries and corn. She also raises farmyard animals. She buys her supplies in Guaranda and sells her produce in Guaranda market.
