Jane N. is a married woman with two school going-children. They own a house that has electricity and piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is school fees.
For the past four yeas, she has operated a charcoal-selling business. She sells from her home to her neighbors and friends. As another source of income, Jane sells second-hand clothes, and that helps her meet her family's daily needs.
She decided to join Yehu microfinance because of its good reputation. With the KES 60,000 she is requesting, she wants to purchase 20 bags of charcoal to sell.
She dreams of establishing rental houses in the future.
