Tharch S., 32, resides in Kampong Cham province, Cambodia, an area known for rubber plantations. S. sell groceries, earning an income of about 5 USD each per day. Her husband is a construction foreman, earning an income of 8.33 USD per day. Each month, the family has to spend 60 USD on food and 110 USD on other necessary expenses. S. is requesting a loan of 1,000 USD to purchase traditional baskets to resell. This will be her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner.
