Chen S., who is married and resides with her family in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia, an area known for Angkorean temples, sells fish, earning an income of USD 4 per day. Her husband is a motor-taxi driver, earning an income of about USD 3 per day. Each month, the family has to spend USD 60 on food and USD 30 on other necessary expenses. S. is requesting a loan of USD 500 to purchase more fish for sale. In the future, she would like to use the additional income to repair her house. This will be her first loan from CREDIT, a long standing Kiva partner.
