A loan of $300 helped to purchase a dairy cow.

Clenda's story

Clenda is a dairy farmer from Litein town in Rift Valley Kenya. Clenda is 24 years old and married with two children ages 2 and 4 years. She has been in the farming business for six years and employs one farmhand. She sells her milk to the local market.

She has requested for a loan of 25,000 Kes through Juhudi Kilimo to purchase a dairy cow. The extra income from the sale of milk will enable her to pay school fees for her child. Her primary challenge has been lack of enough animal feed. She hopes to acquire at least 4 dairy cows in the next five years.
She would like Juhudi to help her look for quality dairy cows.
