Brigida's story

Brigida is 42 years old, and she was born in the community of Yanahuara, in the province of Urubamba in the department of Cusco, Peru. Brigida is married with three children, and she currently lives in the community where she was born. She raises small livestock animals, such as sheep, pigs, chickens, and guinea pigs, for a living. Brigida hopes to use this loan to buy animals, particularly guinea pigs (a traditional food source in the Peruvian Andes).

Brigida belongs to the "Villa Marcelo Virgen del Carmen" community bank, part of the Cusco Arariwa Association, and she is very pleased with the services offered by the association.
