Joyce's story

66 year-old N. Joyce owns a Kindergarten and Primary school in Kasenge-Mukono. She has been overseeing the running of her schools for 12 years now. N. is happily married with six kids and she says it was after she finished her teacher training course that she began these schools. At first she had to make do with teaching in a government school. After some time, she made a decision to start her own school. N. also has a flower sales business. Monthly this businesses bring in shillings 362,500 as profits. Joyce says with this loan, she is going to purchase more scholastic materials for her school and also improve her flower sales business.
