Pean's story

Pean T. is married and resides with her husband in Siem Reap province, Cambodia, an area known for Angkorean temples. T. sells souvenirs at the temples, earning an income of USD 10 per day. Her husband uses his horse for the tourists to ride, earning an income of USD 7 per day. Each month, the family has to spend USD 37 on food and USD 100 on the other necessary expenses.

T. is requesting a loan of USD 1200 to purchase a camera to take photos of the tourists and to build public sanitation for the tourists. In the future, she would like to use the additional income to repair her house. This will be her first loan from CREDIT, a long standing Kiva partner.
