Nazia's Group's story

Nazia is a resident of Jaranwala which is a small city located in Punjab province and known for its agriculture, particularly rice crops. Her house has 2 rooms and she has been living in it with her family for the past 7 years. Her husband’s name is M. I. and he makes truck bodies. He is very talented in his work and also creates beautiful art work on truck bodies by using different colors on them. Nazia has given birth to 3 sons. All of them are very young and have not started going school yet. Nazia wants her children to get a quality education to become successful persons in their lives. She wants to improve her husband’s business so that she may send her eldest son, who is now 5 years old, to school. Nazia has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for the improvement of her husband’s business. He will buy iron in bulk quantity for making truck bodies. This will help him to complete the orders in less time and earn extra profits. Nazia has a firm believe that money attracts money and she is hopeful that her husband’s business will grow in a positive direction after making the loan investment into it.
