Jessenia Del Carmen's story

Jessenia Del Carmen is 25 years old. She is a single mother and has one child in her care. Her goal is to continue maintaining her customers since her business provides income that she needs. Jessenia's business is selling general merchandise such as clothes, cosmetics and footwear. She works as an itinerant street vendor and has been in her business for 5 years. She started out in her business as she was looking for work that would make income for her family. She decided to start selling merchandise. In the beginning, things weren't so difficult as she has always enjoyed working. She showed her friends the products that she had for sale and started taking loans so that she could invest more money in purchasing merchandise. Jessenia has always worked with Fundación Leon 2000 and decided to continue relying on their support. This loan will provide Jessenia with working capital that she will spend on underwear, perfume, dresses, bags, footwear, creams and other products as the summer season is approaching.
