Las Esperanzadas Group's story

The Banco D. Emprendimiento “Las Esperanzadas” (“The Hopeful” Communal Bank) is working it first cycle with this Institution. It is composed of 9 people engaging in different activities, such as: clothes sale, food sale, masonry, snack sales, photocopying services and cosmetics promoters. They come from the Plan 3000 area. The group was born out of the initiative of Silvia. She lives in the La Campana area, and she engages in selling food in her house in the evenings. She sells to her neighbors and acquaintances and she has many customers. Silvia will use the loan amount to buy ingredients and groceries to prepare her dishes. Her husband is a masonry contractor, and they sustain the economy of their family together. They live in the house of a family member, and one of Silvia’s whishes is to buy some land where to build their house. She is a very hard-working person, and she is thankful to the institution for the help provided.
