A loan helped a member to buy a new horse cart for loading business.

Sajida's Group's story

Sajida has applied for a loan from Kiva partner Asasah for her husband who wants to improve his loading business. With the loan, he will buy a new horse cart that will help him put more loads on it and earn better profits. He has been doing this business for past 30 years. Sajida is confident that an investment will bring her husband better profits and her family will be able to enjoy a better standard of living.

Sajida is a housewife, stays at home and does her household chores. She is a very good administrator and manages her household expenses very well. She has given birth to four sons and a daughter. Her eldest son is jobless and looking for a job while others are doing different kind of work to financially contribute to the family.

Sajida is a regular loan user of Asasah and this is her 2nd loan application. In previous loan year, she has paid her installments on time and never missed a single meeting. She is hopeful that an investment will bring good changes to her husband’s business and increase his profits.

She lives in Jaranwala which is a small city of Punjab, Pakistan, known for its agriculture industry. She has been living there with her family in a 2-room brick house for the past 40 years.
