A loan of $4,175 helped a member to increase her shop inventory.

Mgombolwa Group's story

Conelia P., who is in her late twenties, is married with two children. She has been running a general store for three years now. She works from 6:00am to 8:00pm daily and is able to make a small monthly profit.

This will be Conelia's 1st loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She hopes for a loan to increase her shop inventory. Her dream is to one day go to Nairobi and make her own choice of ladies' clothes.

Conelia will share this loan to her loan group, "Mgombolwa", which has a total of 20 members. The members of the group will hold each other accountable in paying back their loans.
