A loan of $725 helped to buy school supplies to sell.

Maria Yrene's story

Maria is 22 years old, single, and doesn't have any children. She lives with her family in Tambogrande district, an agricultural area located in Piura region, more than four hours from the city of Chiclayo, the capital of Lambayeque region.

For 3 years, María has owned a grocery store where she sells essentials and groceries to her neighbors and customers from the area. The store is located in her home. María would currently like to expand her business by purchasing more merchandise. She would also like to respond to the demand for school supplies during the current back-to-school season. For this reason, she has requested a loan for 2,000 Peruvian soles from Edpyme Alternativa. With this investment, María will be able to make more profits and continue investing in her business. She is a long-standing client of Edpyme and has made her previous repayments punctually.
